1 bedroom available in large 3 bed/1bath house with yard! (Shared Housing)

Our current roommate is moving out of state so my roommate (38F) and I (35F) are looking for someone new to take over her spot. Prefer professionals or graduate students.

📍 On the Somerville/Medford line, available August 1st (flexible, prefer... August start but September ok too).

🚌 Several bus routes, including the 89, 101, and 80 are within easy (5 mins or less) walking distance.
🚗 No included parking but plenty of street parking nearby.

🏡 This is a large apartment with two levels, takes up one half of a duplex. The room available is one of the upstairs bedrooms. There are also several common areas, including a spacious kitchen with dishwasher, large living room, a den, and a front room that we use as an office and spare bedroom as needed. Storage is available in the basement along with a washer and dryer (free) for our unit.

💵 Your portion of the rent would be $1050 plus utilities. Utilities are gas, electric, and internet, split evenly between the three tenants. It is a large apartment so altogether these generally run around $200-250/per person/per month in the winter, and around $100-150 in the summer. The city provides composting and trash pickup, and the landlord pays for water.

🧑‍🦰 We (the roommates) are two professional women in their mid-late 30s. Ideally looking for someone similar. One enjoys playing old-time fiddle music and hosts occasional jams at the house (with notice/ permission from housemates). The other enjoys roller-blading, bowling, and line dancing. Relatively quiet - not a party house. We each have our own space and schedules, but share a friendly environment. We will occasionally go to area events together, play games, watch movies, or share a meal. While we love animals, unfortunately pets are not allowed under our lease. Non-smokers only.
